Visit from NPIC – Cambodia
Located in the Meeting Room of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Bandung Institute of Technology, Achmad Bakrie Building, 2nd Floor, on Wednesday, February 9, 2011, the Dean of STEI ITB received a visit from the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia – Cambodia (NPIC). The NPIC representatives consisting of 7 lecturers and 10 students were received by the Dean of STEI, Prof. Suwarno and the Vice Deans of STEI, Dwi Hendratmo, Ph.D. and Dr. Jaka Sembiring and accompanied by representatives from SEAMOLEC, Mr. Ith Vuthy.
Ith Vuthy, Deputy for Programs at SEAMOLEC and the NPIC facilitator for their visit to ITB, specifically to STEI ITB, stated that, if possible, a collaboration with STEI ITB could be established in the future.
His visit to ITB this time was to discuss and exchange information on the current curricula at STEI ITB, so they could be implemented at NPIC in the near future. He also wanted to explore collaboration with ITB, specifically STEI.
It should also be noted that currently there is 1 lecturer from NPIC who is continuing his Masters studies at STEI ITB.
