Prof. Dr. Ir. Pekik Argo Dahono, Professor at the School of Electrical and Informatics Engineering (STEI) ITB passed away on Friday, January 21, 2022 at 19.32 WIB in Batam. He is a member of the Electrical Engineering Research Group.
Before leaving for a family funeral in the Padasuka area, a release ceremony from the extended family is held for colleagues, relatives, and friends. ITB also let go of his departure by giving his last respects, in the ceremony of releasing the body in the West Hall of ITB, which was attended in a limited manner.
Prof. Pekik was born in Yogyakarta, April 8, 1962. Prior to serving at ITB, he completed his undergraduate education at ITB, Electrical Engineering study program in 1985. Then he continued his Master of Engineering (M.Eng) at the Tokyo Institute of Technology 1992, and earned a Ph. D at the same university in 1995.
During his lifetime, he has won numerous awards such as STEI ITB Award (2010) Best Paper Award, ITB Journal of Engineering and Science (2008), ASEAN Engineering Achievement Award (2006), PII Engineering Award (2006), Asahi Glass Research Awards (1998). ), Toray Research Fellowships Awards (1998), Hitachi Kimmai Fellowship awards (1997), Japan Society for Promotion of Science Research Awards (1997), Winner of Scientific Writing Competition among Indonesian Students in Japan (1994), Conference Paper Award from IEE Japan (1992).
