STEI ITB Students Win 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place in ANTAM Hackathon 2026
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — Students from the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Bandung Institute of Technology (STEI ITB) achieved success in the 2026 ANTAM Hackathon by being part of three ITB teams that swept all the championship positions. STEI ITB students were part of the teams that won 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the competition, the award ceremony of which took place in Malang on September 3, 2026.
The ANTAM Hackathon 2026, held in conjunction with the ANTAM Quality Convention, provides a platform for participants to develop innovative solutions to various real-world problems relevant to the needs of ANTAM's mining industry. In this competition, participants are challenged to develop solutions in the form of proposals, models, dashboards, prototypes, and process designs.
In the 1st Place category, STEI ITB students who were part of the winning team were Muhamad Hasbullah Faris (18223014), Guntara Hambali (13523114), and Muh. Rusmin Nurwadin (13523068). The 2nd Place team involved Dzaky Aurelia Fawwaz (13523065) and Fadhil Agly Hakim (18123005), while Rafa Satria Pratama (13224074) was part of the team that won 3rd Place.
The final presentations were held at the Grand Mercure in Malang. The three winning teams were from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and comprised students from various study programs and faculties. The involvement of STEI ITB students in all the winning positions demonstrated their scientific contributions and cross-disciplinary collaboration in formulating solutions to challenges in the mining sector.
This achievement demonstrates the application of STEI ITB students' competencies in addressing real-world industrial challenges. It is hoped that this achievement will encourage students to continue developing relevant, applicable innovations that benefit industry and society.
