STEI ITB Faculty Named Among the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2026
The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB) has once again achieved international recognition. Two STEI ITB faculty members have been named among the World’s Top 2% Scientists 2026, a ranking of influential scientists worldwide based on indicators of scholarly publication impact and citations.
The two STEI ITB faculty members included in the list are:
- Prof. Dr. Ir. Suwarno, M.T.
- Dr. Ir. Agung Wahyu Setiawan, S.T., M.T., I.P.M., ASEAN Eng.
The World’s Top 2% Scientists list is compiled using bibliometric data from Scopus, taking into account several indicators, including citation counts, h-index, authorship contributions, and a composite indicator (c-score). This ranking serves as an international reference for measuring the influence of scholarly publications across various academic disciplines.
The inclusion of these two STEI ITB faculty members in the list demonstrates that their scholarly work has contributed to the advancement of knowledge globally. Their publications not only enrich academic literature but also serve as references for other researchers developing new studies and approaches in their respective fields.
