STEI ITB and the Sukabumi Regency Government Explore Collaboration on the Digitalization of Development Administration
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — The Sukabumi Regency Government is exploring a collaboration with the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the Bandung Institute of Technology (STEI ITB) to develop the digitalization of development administration. Coordination and consultation sessions are scheduled for Thursday, October 8, 2026, at 09:00 WIB, at the Achmad Bakrie Building (Labtek VIII), 2nd Floor, ITB Ganesha Campus, Bandung.
This agenda serves as a follow-up to the initial meeting between the Sukabumi Regency Government and STEI ITB. A subsequent meeting is planned, involving 14 participants from relevant regional government agencies, to discuss potential collaboration on digitizing development administration.
The coordination plan refers to the Regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Number 8 of 2026 concerning the Evaluation of Digital Government Performance. Within the context of this agenda, the development of the digitalization of development administration forms part of the local government's focus on strengthening digital government governance.
Furthermore, the Sukabumi Regency Government refers to Regent Regulation Number 100 of 2021 concerning the Main Duties and Functions of the Development Administration Division within the Sukabumi Regency Regional Secretariat. This reference places the discussion on digitalization within the context of executing development administration duties and functions, thereby allowing development needs to be addressed with due regard for local government work processes.
Consultations with STEI ITB regarding the Sukabumi Regency Government's administrative development needs are expected to serve as a starting point for exploring opportunities to utilize appropriate technology. The involvement of relevant regional government agencies is expected to enrich discussions on practical requirements and key priorities to be considered during the exploration of this potential collaboration.
