ITB Electrical Engineering Class of 1996 Marks 30-Year Reunion and Supports Educational Facilities at STEI ITB

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — Alumni of the 1996 Electrical Engineering class at Institut Teknologi Bandung (EL96-ITB) held a series of activities to commemorate their 30-year reunion on September 4–5, 2026. The gathering brought alumni together to reconnect, strengthen their ties, and contribute to the Sekolah Teknik Elektro dan Informatika Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB).

The reunion activities began on Friday, September 4, 2026, with an alumni gathering held in a warm and informal atmosphere. The program also featured musical entertainment and a band performance, providing an opportunity for alumni to reminisce and reconnect three decades after their years of study at ITB.

On Saturday, September 5, 2026, the reunion continued at ITB’s Campus Center (CC) Timur. Alumni took part in several activities, including welcoming remarks and a gathering with members of the STEI ITB community. During the event, EL96-ITB alumni also presented a contribution of Rp132.96 million for educational facilities, reflecting their support for the continued development of educational activities at STEI ITB.

As part of the program, the alumni also visited laboratory facilities at ITB. During the visit, participants had the opportunity to see various laboratory and practical learning equipment, including electrical machinery used to support teaching and student competency development. The visit also allowed alumni to revisit memories of their academic years while observing the development of educational facilities on campus.

The 30-year EL96-ITB reunion concluded with a group gathering and photo session. Beyond serving as a moment of nostalgia, the reunion strengthened the connection between alumni and the university through a tangible contribution to the continued advancement of education at STEI ITB.
