STEI ITB and Rohde & Schwarz Indonesia Establish Cooperation to Advance the Tridharma of Higher Education

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB), and PT Rohde & Schwarz Indonesia have established a cooperation agreement on the development and implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education. The agreement was signed in Bandung on Thursday, September 3, 2026, by STEI ITB Dean Prof. Dr. Ir. Tutun Juhana, S.T., M.T., IPU. and Managing Director of PT Rohde & Schwarz Indonesia Muhammad Arif, S.T., M.Si (Han).

The cooperation is intended to strengthen institutional relations and partnership between the two organizations in supporting education, research, and community service activities. It also provides a framework for both parties to utilize their respective expertise and resources in activities related to the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education.

In education and teaching, the scope of cooperation includes training programs, seminars, workshops, technical guidance, student internships or practical work programs, as well as public and guest lectures. In research and development, the two parties may collaborate through joint research, the development of products or technologies based on research outcomes, and joint scientific publications.

The agreement also covers community service and other supporting activities mutually agreed upon by both parties. Specific collaborative programs will be further arranged through implementing agreements as required, with the cooperation carried out on the principles of mutual respect, mutual benefit, and good faith.

The agreement will remain in effect for two years from the date of signing and may be extended upon the written consent of both parties. During this period, STEI ITB and PT Rohde & Schwarz Indonesia will also evaluate the implementation of the cooperation to support its effectiveness and continuity.
