STEI ITB and Mimika Regency Communications and Informatics Office Collaborate on Information Technology Master Plan
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB), and the Communications and Informatics Office of Mimika Regency have signed a Type II Self-Management Contract for the preparation of an Information Technology Master Plan document. The agreement was signed in Bandung on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
The Communications and Informatics Office of Mimika Regency was represented by Orpa Solossa, S.Sos., M.Si., as Budget User Authority, while STEI ITB was represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tutun Juhana, S.T., M.T., IPU. Under the agreement, STEI ITB serves as the implementing institution responsible for carrying out the project.
The project is scheduled to run from September 1 to November 30, 2026. Throughout the implementation period, STEI ITB will carry out the work in accordance with the Terms of Reference, proposal, and other provisions stipulated in the contract documents. The Communications and Informatics Office of Mimika Regency will provide administrative support, including coordination, data provision, and facilitation with relevant regional government agencies.
The collaboration also establishes mechanisms for supervision and progress reporting throughout the project. STEI ITB is required to provide periodic reports on the implementation of the activities, while the Communications and Informatics Office of Mimika Regency will oversee and review the deliverables in accordance with the agreed provisions.
Through this collaboration, STEI ITB’s academic expertise and competencies in information technology are expected to support the preparation of an information technology planning document for Mimika Regency. The resulting document will serve as the main deliverable of the project, prepared in accordance with the scope of work and implementation schedule agreed upon by both parties.
