Guest Lecture on Introduction to IEEE Organization and Student Membership
IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc.) Indonesia CASS Chapter, EMBS Chapter, and ITB Student branch assisted by the Biomedical Engineering Research Group of STEI – ITB has held an Organizational Introduction seminar IEEE on Tuesday (22 November 2011) at R. Multimedia STEI, Labtek VIII Lt. 2. This seminar aims to introduce the IEEE Organization and its professionalism and membership for students.
Present as a speaker was Prof. Dr. Ir. Soegijardjo Soegijoko, he is Chapters Officers . IEEE Indonesia Section For Engineering in Medicine and biology Chapter Chair He is also an adjunct lecturer at STEI for the Biomedical Engineering Study Program. In the approximately two-hour seminar, he explained several things:

- Student Member Registration
The seminar, which was attended not only by STEI students, but also by students from other departments at ITB and students from other universities, attracted a lot of attention from students, especially when the speaker explained the benefits of participating in the community. IEEE This is in addition to gaining knowledge about various kinds of science in their respective fields because every IEEE member can access the latest and best research, news, television programs, and educational resources needed to develop their skills as well as being part of the world's largest community of professional technology - a communication and learning network, where innovators share about success, what is not, and what is needed now. Besides that, there are also many other benefits that can be obtained from being a student member in this community.
