One of ITB's Leading Researches in 2002-2003, Digital Mark Reader
(DMR) received the 2012 West Java ICT Award as
Best Innovation Product based on Information and Communication Technology
(TIK).
The award was presented by the Governor of West Java, Ahmad
Heryawan to Prof. Dr. Ir. Ing. Iping Supriana, DEA on behalf of
STEI–ITB as the Head of the DMR Development Team at the opening ceremony of the De
Syukran 2, commemoration of the 67th anniversary of West Java in the courtyard of the Sate Building, Bandung,
15 September 2012.
DMR is a software developed for exam checking.
and low-cost data entry. DMR was developed with the expectation that
schools can have fast and reliable exam checking tools
quality even though the funds are limited. To get the costs
low operational cost, DMR is designed to be paired with
inexpensive document scanner and LJK form duplication procedure
which is also low cost.
In the course of 10 years, DMR has continued to be developed and has been used
by thousands of institutions, including hundreds of universities,
including ITB. Not only as an exam examiner at the institution
education, DMR is also used in the central CPNS selection exam and
regions, recruitment of state-owned enterprises, banks and private companies such as Bank BTPN,
TransTV and Cipaganti, teacher certification exams, banker certification and
procurement officers, as well as exams in the police and military which
generally in the form of a psychological test. It doesn't stop there, the satisfaction questionnaire
customers from Toyota Astra to Garuda Indonesia, as well as entry forms
data on well-known pharmaceutical companies to Chevron oil wells too
menggunakan DMR.
