the Tokyo Tech Indonesian Commitment Founded in 2010 by PPI Tokodai (an independent organization of Indonesian students studying at the Tokyo Institute of Technology), the program was established to develop science and technology by promoting young researchers and students in their research, and providing support through research and scholarships.

To enhance capacity, research and development must be conducted synergistically by three actors: national research agencies, universities, and industry. While universities serve as venues for many innovative research activities, students play a key role as key actors behind them. With this perspective, the Indonesian Student Association of the Tokyo Institute of Technology (PPI Tokodai) is committed to contributing to supporting and promoting young Indonesian student researchers, and their research, which can enhance Indonesia's national development in science and technology.

PPI Tokodai is an independent organization for Indonesian students studying at the Tokyo Institute of Technology. Currently, the association has over 80 members, most of whom are research students, undergraduate students, master's students, doctoral students, and assistant professors. PPI Tokodai was formed to integrate all Indonesian students at the institution, who come from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds. PPI Tokodai holds numerous activities throughout the year to provide benefits and advantages, not only to its members but also to the wider community.
