SEEI ITB Receives a Visit from the Directorate of Continuing Professional Education to Discuss Training Program Collaboration

The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB received a visit from the Directorate of Continuing Professional Education (DPPB) on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at the SEEI Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Labtek VIII Building, ITB. The visit was conducted as an audience session and an exploration of potential collaboration on training programs that can be jointly implemented between faculties/schools and units under the coordination of DPPB.

The activity took place in a constructive and open discussion atmosphere, with a shared spirit of building synergy in the implementation of continuing education within ITB. DPPB presented various training programs that have been developed, as well as potential strategic collaborations that can be carried out together with SEEI ITB.

One of the main missions of the Directorate of Continuing Professional Education is to become an integrated part of the institution in meeting the needs for capacity building and competency enhancement through high-quality training programs that are relevant to the demands of industry and professional communities.

The audience session was welcomed by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs of SEEI ITB, Dr. Techn. M. Zuhri Catur, and the Vice Dean for Resources of SEEI ITB, Dr. Eng. Ir. Arwindra Rizqiawan. Both expressed SEEI ITB’s readiness to establish productive collaboration and provide support for initiatives that foster the development of professional education in the future.

Through this meeting, it is expected that a solid framework of cooperation will be established between SEEI ITB and the Directorate of Continuing Professional Education, strengthening ITB’s role in addressing training needs and competency development challenges in the era of digital transformation and industry.
