STEI ITB Welcomes KCCI Delegation to Discuss Korea–ITB Engineering Talent Program
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB) welcomed a delegation from the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) on Wednesday, July 29, 2026. The meeting was held at the STEI ITB Faculty Lounge, located on the second floor of Labtek VIII, ITB Ganesa Campus.
The visit was organized to discuss the Korea–ITB Engineering Talent Program, a professional development and recruitment initiative in the engineering sector jointly organized by KCCI and ITB. The program is designed to provide training opportunities while connecting ITB graduates with Korean companies.
During the meeting, representatives from both institutions discussed the program’s general framework, implementation stages, and opportunities available to final-year students and ITB alumni interested in pursuing careers in South Korea.

The program is open to graduates of undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs related to electronics and electrical engineering. Students expected to graduate in 2026, as well as ITB alumni interested in working in South Korea, are also eligible to participate in the selection process.
Following the meeting at the Faculty Lounge, the KCCI delegation visited the Basic Electrical Engineering Laboratory at STEI ITB. The laboratory visit provided the delegation with an opportunity to observe the educational facilities and practical learning activities that support students’ academic development in electrical engineering.
Through this visit, STEI ITB and KCCI are expected to strengthen their coordination in implementing the Korea–ITB Engineering Talent Program and create broader opportunities for ITB students and alumni to develop their professional competencies and pursue international careers.
