SEEI ITB Welcomes New Students of the Class of 2025 with Academic Orientation and Integrity Values
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — On Thursday, August 14, 2025, the atmosphere at the ITB West Hall Auditorium was filled with enthusiasm as the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB welcomed new students of the Class of 2025. This event marked the beginning of their academic journey, while also serving as an opportunity for students to become more familiar with the campus environment, academic culture, and the values upheld by SEEI ITB.
The series of activities began with a warm welcome from the Dean of SEEI ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tutun Juhana, S.T., M.T. In his remarks, he encouraged new students to make the most of every learning opportunity, cultivate creativity, and uphold integrity throughout their studies at SEEI ITB. . .

The event continued with an academic introduction delivered by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. techn. Muhammad Zuhri Catur Candra, S.T., M.T. In his presentation, he explained the learning system, curriculum, and various supporting facilities available, while also introducing the nine study programs at SEEI ITB along with their respective Heads of Study Programs to the new students. . .

Following this session, participants took part in an experience-sharing and question-and-answer session with undergraduate and postgraduate students of SEEI ITB. This interactive session provided practical insights into student life, time management strategies, and various self-development opportunities available during their studies.



As part of support for student well-being, Dr. Ir. Akhmadi Surawijaya, S.T., M.Eng., delivered a counseling session entitled Ruang Bahagia. In this session, he emphasized the importance of maintaining mental health, life balance, and building a positive learning environment so that students can navigate their academic journey more effectively. ..
To conclude the event, Ir. Burhanuddin Halimi, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., presented a session on the Integrity Zone – Corruption-Free Area. In his presentation, he stressed the importance of developing honesty and integrity from an early stage as a foundation for future careers, while also explaining the services provided by SEEI ITB to support the smooth progress of students’ academic activities. . . ..
Through this welcoming event, SEEI ITB hopes that new students of the Class of 2025 will begin their journey with enthusiasm, academic readiness, and a strong commitment to upholding the values of integrity and innovation.
