STEI ITB Receives a Visit from the APAC IPv6 Council to Discuss Collaboration Opportunities

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of the Bandung Institute of Technology (STEI ITB) received a visit from the Asia Pacific IPv6 Council (APAC IPv6 Council) to explore collaboration opportunities between ITB and the APAC IPv6 Council. This activity was held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Faculty Lounge, Labtek VIII, 2nd Floor.

This meeting provided an initial discussion platform to explore potential academic and strategic synergies, particularly in the development of network technology and the implementation of IPv6 in the Asia-Pacific region. The discussion is expected to open opportunities for sustainable collaboration between higher education institutions and international organizations in the field of information and communications technology.

The visit was attended by the Dean of STEI ITB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tutun Juhana, ST, MT. Meanwhile, from the APAC IPv6 Council, the Chairman of the APAC IPv6 Council, Prof. Emeritus Dr. Sureswaran Ramadass, was also present.

Through this meeting, STEI ITB affirmed its commitment to continuously expanding its international collaboration network and actively participating in the development and adoption of future networking technologies. This initial discussion is expected to be the first step toward concrete and impactful collaboration for both academia and industry.
