Leiden University Delegation Visit Discusses Academic and Research Collaboration Opportunities

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id –  The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Bandung Institute of Technology (STEI ITB) welcomed a delegation from Leiden University to discuss opportunities for collaboration in education and research. The event took place on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, in the STEI Meeting Room, Labtek VIII Building, 2nd Floor.

The meeting was a follow-up to discussions between the two institutions that took place in June 2025. The main agenda of the meeting focused on exploring shared interests in developing strategic collaborations, particularly regarding opportunities for organizing Joint-PhD programs, participation in the Indonesia–Netherlands Consortium for Sustainable Futures (INUCoST), and discussing the direction and alignment of internationalization strategies between STEI ITB and Leiden University.

From STEI ITB, this meeting was attended by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. techn. Muhammad Zuhri Catur Candra, ST, MT, and the Vice Dean for Resources, Dr. Eng. Ir. Arwindra Rizqiawan, ST, MT, along with the heads of study programs at STEI ITB.

Meanwhile, the Leiden University delegation was attended by Marrik Bellen as Director, Zweta Manggarani as Deputy Director & Academic Coordinator, and Afwan Afwandi as Academic and Education Support Officer.

Through this meeting, STEI ITB and Leiden University hope to strengthen institutional relations and open up opportunities for sustainable collaboration that will make a real contribution to the development of higher education and international research.
