Mimika Regency Communication and Informatics Office and STEI ITB Collaborate on Developing SPBE Knowledge Management Documentation
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — The Communication and Informatics Agency (Diskominfo) of Mimika Regency has established a partnership with the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics at the Bandung Institute of Technology (STEI ITB) regarding the development of an Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE). The partnership ceremony took place on Thursday, August 6, 2026.
This collaboration specifically focuses on developing knowledge management documents for the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE). The agreement is part of an effort to support more structured knowledge management in the implementation and development of SPBE within the Mimika Regency Government.
Through this collaboration, the Mimika Regency Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) and STEI ITB aim to combine the practical needs of local government with academic expertise in information technology and electronic government systems. Developing knowledge management documentation is a key step toward establishing an information and knowledge governance framework that supports the sustainable implementation of SPBE (Electronic-Based Government Systems).
Collaboration between local government and higher education institutions also creates opportunities for knowledge exchange and the utilization of academic expertise to support the government's digital transformation process. The resulting document is expected to serve as a reference for knowledge management regarding the implementation of the Electronic-Based Government System (SPBE) in Mimika Regency.
