Teacher Training SMP & SMA Across Aceh in Cyber Security R&D
On Monday, June 9, 2014, at the Cyber Security Building R&D of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics ITB, a Competency Strengthening Training for Teachers OSN at the SMP and SMA levels throughout Aceh was held in the field of Computers. This activity involves the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI), the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), the Faculty of Earth Sciences and Engineering (FITB), the School of Life Sciences and Technology (SITH), the School of Business and Management (SBM), . The fields of study of mathematics, chemistry, physics and astronomy will be handled by FMIPA, the field of biology by SITH, and also geography and earth sciences by FITB, and the field of IPS by SBM.
This training program lasted for 4 and a half months, divided into 3 waves and attended by 390 participants. For Teacher competency OSN SMA held in May - June, the first batch of 150 teachers, with the fields of study: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Astronomy, and Mathematics. The II batch of 120 teachers with the fields of study: Geography, Economics, Earth Sciences and Computer Science. Teacher competency OSN SMP was held in August - September for 120 teachers with the fields of study: Biology, Physics, Mathematics, and IPS.
This training is expected to improve the competence of OSN's supervising teachers in character education and increase the quantity and quality of graduates. Hopefully, the quality of education in Aceh and Indonesia will improve.
