Implementation of the Safety Induction Program for the Electrical Engineering Study Program by Mr. Ir. Habibur Muhaimin, S.T., M.Sc.
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The Electrical Engineering Study Program of SEEI ITB conducted a Safety Induction activity aimed at increasing students’ awareness and preparedness for emergency situations within the campus environment. This activity was held at the East General Lecture Building (GKU Timur) on Thursday, 2 October 2025, and was attended by two classes of students.
The safety induction materials were delivered directly by Mr. Ir. Habibur Muhaimin, S.T., M.Sc., who provided an explanation of various safety procedures and emergency actions that are important for all participants to understand.
Several topics discussed in this activity included:
- Fire handling, including the use of fire extinguishers (APAR) and room evacuation;
- Safety procedures during earthquakes;
- Actions to be taken in the event of theft within the campus environment;
Introduction to and basic practice of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) as part of the response to medical emergencies.


This activity is part of the commitment of the Electrical Engineering Study Program to creating a safe learning environment that is responsive to potential risks. Through this training, it is expected that students will be better prepared to face various emergency situations quickly and appropriately.
