Digital Transformation Consultation: STEI ITB Receives Visit from the Sukabumi Regency Government
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) of the Bandung Institute of Technology received a consultation visit from the Sukabumi Regency Government on Wednesday (24/6/2026) at the 2nd Floor of the Labtek VIII Building, ITB Ganesha Campus, Bandung. This activity is part of the Sukabumi Regency Government's efforts to encourage the acceleration of digital transformation in the regional government environment.
The visit was carried out based on the work program of the Development Administration Section of the Sukabumi Regency Regional Secretariat for 2026. On that occasion, the Sukabumi Regency Government delegation held consultations regarding strategies and steps to accelerate the transition from a manual work system to a digital system in various government administration services and processes.
Digital transformation is currently a key agenda for local governments to improve the effectiveness of public services, strengthen governance, and encourage the optimal use of information technology. Through this consultation, the Sukabumi Regency Government seeks to gain insights, experience, and academic perspectives that can support the implementation of digitalization in its work environment.
As an educational institution with strong competencies in information technology, digital systems, artificial intelligence, and software engineering, STEI ITB continues to play an active role in supporting the development of the digital transformation ecosystem in various sectors, including the government sector.
This consultation also reflects the importance of collaboration between universities and local governments in addressing development challenges in the digital age. This synergy is expected to yield a variety of innovative solutions that will not only improve work process efficiency but also significantly impact the quality of public services.
