Dr. Ir. Nana Rachmana Raih Bakti Koperasi dan UKM 2016 pada Harkonas
ITB has once again earned recognition and admiration from the Indonesian people. Dr. Ir. Nana Rachmana Syambas, M.Eng., as the head of the ITB Employee Family Cooperative (KKP), received the 2016 Cooperative and SME Service Award. The award ceremony took place in Jambi on Wednesday (July 21, 2016), ahead of the 69th National Cooperative Day (Harkonas) celebration.
The celebration, led by the Governor of Jambi, included a Cooperative and SME Service Award Reception, attended by state officials, including President Joko Widodo. The award was presented by the Minister of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (KUKM), Anak Agung Gede Ngurah Puspayoga. The Cooperative and SME Service Award was presented to leading figures and initiators in the cooperative sector.
Dr. Nana Rachmana Syambas has served as the Chair of KKP ITB for 2 terms, or in other words, 6 years. In addition, he also serves as the Vice Dean of Resources (WDS) STEI ITB. In his busy responsibilities, he successfully pushed KKP ITB's investment, which was previously based on a savings and loan system, to emphasize the next step in services and production. The service and production system, for example, includes vehicle rental, drinking water production, and catering. He also prioritizes the integrity and honesty of his employees. In addition, he strives for KKP ITB to set aside a small portion of its funds to help students, especially those from outside the region and Bidikmisi, so that they can maintain a healthy diet. The way he does this is by distributing free breakfast at certain times. Thanks to the breakthroughs and vision he has obtained, he can initiate significant changes in the development of KKP ITB, especially in the cash flow section, and proves that he deserves this award.
Looking ahead, Dr. Nana Rachmana Syambas is confident that KKP ITB can move even further. He believes there is still much untapped potential within KKP ITB. However, he believes the trust of both employees and external parties is the most essential reward. He believes that there will be other awards dedicated to KKP ITB and its management once that trust is firmly in their grasp.
