Accreditation Assessment of the Information Systems and Technology Study Program at SEEI ITB
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The Information Systems and Technology (STI) Study Program of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB conducted an accreditation assessment on August 3–5, 2025, as part of the higher education quality assurance process. This assessment is part of the periodic accreditation cycle for study programs carried out by the official accreditation body, LAM INFOKOM.
The Head of the STI Study Program explained that the preparation process for the assessment had been carried out comprehensively since the end of last year.
The study program began preparing for the assessment at the end of last year through data collection and the preparation of a self-evaluation report. The main challenges lay in the dispersion of documents across various units as well as adjustments to applicable regulations within the 2020–2024 period.
The main components assessed in this accreditation included the implementation and documentation of the PPEPP cycle (Establishment, Implementation, Evaluation, Control, and Improvement), as well as the results of the Internal Quality Audit (AMI) as evidence of the implementation of the quality assurance system.
Lecturers and educational staff were involved in the preparation of the self-evaluation report, serving as resource persons, members of the Quality Control Group (GKM), and providers of data and supporting documents for the assessment process.

The study program hopes that the results of the assessment will strengthen the implementation of the quality cycle, enhance the transparency of the tridharma of higher education, reinforce inter-unit collaboration, and foster a culture of evaluation and continuous improvement planning.
Through this assessment, the STI Study Program demonstrates its commitment to consistently maintaining academic and operational quality, in order to support the achievement of educational objectives and deliver tangible contributions to society.
