Assalaam High School Visit
On Thursday, July 28, 2011, STEI received a visit from Assalaam High School Sukoharjo Accelerated Science program. The visit, which consisted of 55 male and female students and 3 representatives of Assalaam Teachers, was well received by STEI, represented by the Head of Information Systems Sub-Division, Tedy Kusmawan and several fellow students from HME and HMIF in Room 7602 of Benny Subianto Building (Labtek 5).
During their two-hour visit, they gained comprehensive knowledge and information about the study programs at STEI. Furthermore, they also learned about the academic and non-academic achievements of STEI students at both national and international levels, which was a key element of the visit. In addition to information about the study programs and student achievements, explanations about student activities in the HME and HMIF (Institute of Economics and Management) were also provided.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, covering not only education at STEI but also tips and tricks for entering their desired study program, study methods, information on living costs, housing costs, and more. It is hoped that this visit will further motivate the high school students to work hard to achieve their goals and prepare for the world of college, which is certainly different from high school.
