4 Study Programs STEI ITB Participate in the National Meeting FORTEI XVI, Encouraging the Role of Electrical Engineering on an International Scale
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The four study programs of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), namely Electrical Engineering (EL) Study Program, Electrical Power Engineering (EP) Study Program, Telecommunication Engineering (ET) Study Program. Biomedical Engineering (EB) Study Programhas actively participated in the 16th FORTEI National Meeting and the 2023 National Seminar on Electrical Engineering (SNTE). This activity, which was held offline on August 10-12, 2023, became an important forum for collaboration in supporting the role of Electrical Engineering on an international scale.
As a member of the Electrical Engineering Higher Education Forum (FORTEI), STEI ITB and its four study programs have demonstrated their commitment to improving the quality of education and research in the field of Electrical Engineering. Their representation in this activity is represented by Egi Muhammad Idris Hidayat, S.T, M.Sc., Ph.D., who is also the Chairman Electrical Engineering Study Program.
The main theme of "The Role of FORTEI in Supporting the Internationalization of Electrical Engineering Study Programs in Indonesia" became the main foundation of this National Meeting. Tidar University, which hosted the event, provided a platform for participants from all over Indonesia to exchange ideas, share insights, and forge collaborations that have the potential to advance the position of Electrical Engineering in the global scenario.
In an era where technology is increasingly pervasive in various aspects of life, STEI ITB and its study programs demonstrate their dedication to adapting to global change. The discussions and insights generated at this event are expected to make a valuable contribution to the development of responsive, innovative, and relevant Electrical Engineering education to meet international demands.
