STEI Hosts APIE Camp 2023 – ITB to Enhance Asia Pacific Students' Internet Engineering Skills
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) through the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) is enthusiastically hosting APIE Camp 2023 at the Telematics Laboratory, Achmad Bakrie Building, 4th Floor ITB, Bandung. This ongoing activity aims to increase the interest and capabilities of Asia Pacific students in the field of internet . which is increasingly important as digital technology develops.
APIE Camp 2023 – ITB has entered its second day of a planned six-day event. This activity is the result of a collaboration between operators Research and Education Network (REN) in the Asia Pacific region, namely SOI Asia and AI3. In addition, KEIO University Japan also provided support as one of the main partners in this activity.
The presenters at APIE Camp 2023 – ITB came from various countries, including Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, and Australia. They provided invaluable material on a variety of internet-related topics. ., seperti networking, server & virtualization, cloud, network security, And .. The participants selected from five leading universities in the Asia Pacific region, namely Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Syiah Kuala University (USK), Brawijaya University (UB), and Hasanuddin University (Unhas), appeared very enthusiastic and ready to absorb as much knowledge as possible.
During the second day, participants learned intensively and interacted directly with the presenters and other participants. They also had the opportunity to discuss and exchange experiences about internet engineering, which is increasingly relevant in today's digital world. In the next few days, APIE Camp 2023 – ITB is also planned to conduct a visit to . Padjadjaran University (UNPAD) to provide hands-on learning experiences on technology and operations ..
Dr. Eueung Mulyana, Chief Executive of APIE Camp 2023 – ITB and lecturer of KK Telecommunication STEI ITB, stated, “We hope that through this APIE Camp, participants can deepen their knowledge and skills in internet engineering and expand their networks and collaborations with other students and experts in the Asia Pacific region.”
This activity was officially opened by ., Dean STEI ITB on August 6, 2023 at 09.00 WIB and will continue for the next four days and is expected to provide an extraordinary opportunity for participants to develop themselves and contribute to the world of internet engineering. APIE Camp is part of a series of activities that are routinely held every year in different countries, with the hope of becoming a meaningful learning and collaboration medium for students in the Asia Pacific region.
