Team STEI ITB Takes Two Titles at the Huawei ICT National Competition
Team STEI-ITB won two first-place titles in two categories at the Huawei ICT Competition 2022 National Final Round. These categories are: 1st Place Cloud Track And 1st Place Network Track.
ITB sent three teams to compete in three categories: one representative for the Cloud category, one for the Network category, and one for the Artificial Intelligence category. The teams were selected based on selection results from previous university-level competitions.

This competition challenges future digital talents to hone their skills in mastering cutting-edge technologies. Participants must complete a training program and obtain certification. They must also pass a simulated exam in related technologies. During the competition, participants can also gain hands-on experience solving problems encountered in technology applications.
The two winning ITB teams, namely the Cloud and Network teams, will later represent Indonesia at the Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 Regional Final-Southern Pacific to compete for tickets to the Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 Global Final.
The award ceremony took place on December 6, 2022, in conjunction with the Huawei Digital Talent Day 2022 event. Themed "Build the Strong Character of Indonesian Digital Talent," the event was a lively affair.
The event was opened and attended by Dr. Moeldoko, Kepala Staf Kepresidenan; Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy; Nadiem Anwar Makarim, Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology; Bintang Puspayoga, Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, along with a number of representatives from other government institutions including the Ministry of Communication and Informatics, the National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN), the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), rectors from various university partners and representatives from various industry associations.
To the STEI-ITB Team, good luck in achieving brilliant achievements and bringing honor to Indonesia in the upcoming Huawei ICT Competition 2022-2023 Regional Final-Southern Pacific.
