Tech Talk HMIF Undang Sale Stock
As time goes by, nearly every aspect of human life requires technological intervention. One example is for automating systems and processing data in the business world. On Monday (January 16, 2017) from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, the Informatics Student Association (HMIF) held a Tech Talk back with Sale Stock as the speaker. The event, which was held in the Multimedia room, Labtek V, 4th floor, discussed the regulatory process and systems carried out by Sale Stock in the field of informatics.
Tech Talk opened with welcoming remarks from the Head of the Informatics Engineering Study Program, Dr.techn. Saiful Akbar, ST., MT. Next, on Tech Talk this time, Sale Stock presenting material that includes Machine Learning in Every Product, Building Chat Bot Using Deep Learning, And Developer Experience, Infrastructure, and Tooling. Each topic is packaged in a different session. Not only does it explain how it works and its implementation, Sale Stock also set aside time for questions and answers at the end of each topic to ensure the material presented is conveyed clearly.
The first session, namely, Machine Learning in Every Product, performed by Thomas Diong, Chief Data Officer, Sale StockOne of the main things explained is recommender system. Recommender system is a system that determines what products customers like through customer activity when surfing the site. Sale StockThomas explained how to sort information that can be used as benchmarks to determine customer preferences and how to implement it in the new system. Next, Sale Stock also explains how the comparison of the success rates achieved by the new system and the old system, and several other things such as image recognition.
Building Chat Bot Using Deep Learning is the title of the second session presented by Daniel Handoko, Senior Data Scientist . Sale Stock. On this occasion, he explained the relationship between the signals in the human brain and the processes that will be carried out, how Chat Bot classify accepted sentences into certain contexts, and how Chat Bot can answer frequently asked questions by customers using previously held information.
The third session, namely regarding Developer Experience, Infrastructure, and Tooling, given by Garindra Prahandono as Chief Technology Officer . Sale StockHe also provided an in-depth discussion of the system and examples. After the three sessions concluded, Tech Talk closed with a general question and answer session to ensure that the participants clearly understood the material provided.
