After going through the Dean election process some time ago, Prof. Dr. Suwarno was finally elected as Dean of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics ITB, for the period 2011 – 2014 in accordance with the Decree of the Rector of ITB number 373/SK/K01/KP/2010 dated December 20, 2010, by eliminating two other candidates, namely Prof. Dr. Bambang Riyanto and Dr. Ir. Jaka Sembiring.
The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics of ITB welcomed a visit from approximately 60 science students from SMA Negeri 2 Cirebon on Tuesday, December 14, 2010, accompanied by two teachers. The reception was held in the STEI ITB meeting room. The purpose of their visit was to learn about student activities at STEI ITB and to learn about current technological developments.
Every year, researchers at the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) and the Center for Information and Communication Technology Research (PPTIK) of the Bandung Institute of Technology conduct research with funding from various sources, including ITB Research Group Research, ITB Leading Research, ITB International Research, DIKTI National Strategic Grant Research, Research and Technology Incentive Grants, ITB Alumni Association Research and other sources.
"My responsibility as a Mail ADM at ITB is to ensure that all ITB academics, both staff and students, can send and receive emails using ITB email accounts," said Wahyu, a 2007 Electrical Engineering student enthusiastically when explaining his responsibilities as an email administrator at ITB.
Like the 2009 Halal bihalal (MudIK 2009) event, the 2010 IAE-ITB Halal bihalal event will also be held on (around) the ITB campus in Bandung. The theme for this year's Halal bihalal is Music from Us to Us (MudIK-2). While shaking hands and apologizing, we will listen to musical performances from our own colleagues.

Producing a Generation of Leaders: Fostering Unique, Visionary, and Collaborative Individuals is the vision and guideline of the Profession and Leadership Orientation activity of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (PLO STEI) ITB Class of 2008. This activity, which is specifically for STEI students class of 2008, is the result of collaboration between two associations, namely HME (Electrical Engineering Student Association) and HMIF (Informatics Student Association). In accordance with its vision, it is hoped that this activity can produce a profile of a generation of leaders who are unique, visionary, and collaborative.
School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB participate in ITB’s Open House and Golden Anniversary. In this chance, SEEI open an information centre in “Aula Timur” (East Hall) of ITB. In this information centre, visitors can see the information about study programs in SEEI, research, and students activities in SEEI.
