Silaturahim keluarga besar STEI
Still in the atmosphere of Eid al-Fitr 1432H, STEI held a gathering event on Monday, September 14, 2011. The event, which was held in the corridor of the Achmad Bakrie building (Labtek VIII) 2nd floor, was not only attended by all academic and non-academic members but also by retired lecturers and STEI employees.
On this occasion, the Dean of STEI, Prof. Suwarno, conveyed the greeting of Taqobalallahu minna wa minkum to all the guests present and in his remarks, he conveyed the current state of the STEI study program and the good news that STEI has now been accredited by ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology). In addition, it was also conveyed that for a period of almost 2 years, one of the STEI Lecturer staff, Prof. Carmadi Machbub was trusted to be the permanent ambassador representing the Republic of Indonesia at UNESCO in Paris.
The event continued with a sermon by Prof. Dr. Ing. Mitra Jamal from the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA). He conveyed something closely related to our nature as humans on earth. That in living our lives in this world we must be full of planning by adhering to the guidance that Allah has sent down through His Messenger. Because scientifically Allah has shown us where to go (QS. 2:2 and QS. 2:5) so that we can be included among the fortunate people. The most important thing is that in living this life we must be full of responsibility.
This lively event was closed with a joint prayer and friendly gathering.
