SEEI ITB Welcomes a Visit from Temasek Polytechnic Singapore, Discusses Innovation and Culture in Aerospace Engineering
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB received a visit from Temasek Polytechnic (TP), Singapore, as part of a student exchange program held on July 21, 22, and 23, 2025. The activity was attended by 35 students and 2 teaching staff from TP, with daily sessions conducted from 09:00 to 12:00 WIB.
The visit began with a warm welcome at the SEEI ITB lobby, followed by an introductory session presenting programs from both institutions. Representatives from ITB and TP presented their institutional profiles and study programs, with a focus on Aerospace Electronics and Aerospace Engineering.
One of the highlights of the program was an ice-breaking activity facilitated by ITB student representatives. In this session, students from both institutions introduced their respective cultures—Indonesia and Singapore—and built close interactions through various activities designed to foster a collaborative spirit and active student engagement. . .


The activities continued with small group discussions addressing several important and timely topics in the aerospace field, including:

Ethical dilemmas in automation and aerospace AI

Innovation toward sustainability in the aerospace sector
These discussions aimed to encourage the exchange of ideas and perspectives between ITB and TP students, while also broadening cross-cultural and interdisciplinary insights.


The visit concluded with a tour of the Radio and Microwave Telecommunications Laboratory, providing participants with the opportunity to gain closer insight into radio telecommunications and electromagnetics in the aerospace domain.
Through this activity, SEEI ITB hopes to continue strengthening international networks and promoting sustainable educational and research collaboration with global partners.
