STEI ITB Welcomes Delegation from Belden Inc. Indonesia to Explore Collaboration Opportunities

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB), welcomed a delegation from Belden Inc. Indonesia on Thursday, July 9, 2026. The meeting took place in the STEI ITB Meeting Room, located on the second floor of Labtek VIII, ITB Ganesha Campus.

The visit served as part of STEI ITB’s efforts to strengthen communication and explore potential collaboration with industry partners. STEI ITB was represented by the Vice Dean for Resources, Dr.Eng. Ir. Arwindra Rizqiawan, S.T., M.T.

The meeting provided an initial forum for both parties to become better acquainted and discuss potential areas of collaboration that may be developed in the future. It also created opportunities to exchange perspectives on possible synergies between higher education institutions and industry, in line with the respective capacities and needs of both parties.

For STEI ITB, strengthening engagement with industry partners is an important part of building an educational, research, and innovation ecosystem that remains relevant to technological developments and societal needs. Interaction with industry can also create opportunities for collaborative initiatives that benefit the institution, its academic community, and its partners.

Through this visit, STEI ITB and Belden Inc. Indonesia established a channel of communication to identify potential areas of cooperation that may be pursued in a more focused manner. Further discussions are expected to provide a foundation for developing forms of collaboration that align with the interests and strengths of both parties.

The visit also reflects STEI ITB’s commitment to continuously expanding its partnership network and strengthening relations between higher education institutions and industry in support of the advancement of education, science, technology, and innovation.
