SEEI ITB Welcomes Visit from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia to Strengthen the Integrity Zone
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) welcomed a visit from the Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, Directorate General of Social Rehabilitation, represented by the “Galih Pakuan” Center of Bogor. The visit aimed to strengthen the development of an Integrity Zone toward a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM). The activity was held on Thursday, 19 September 2024, at SEEI ITB, Labtek VIII, 2nd Floor.
The visit was led by Rinto Indratmoko, Head of the Galih Pakuan Center, Bogor, and was attended by several officials, including Agus Elia Gunawan, Senior Social Worker; Lusiana Puji Astuti, Junior Social Counselor; Munib, Junior Human Resources Analyst; as well as Eko Sri Lestari and Wahyu Cahyaningtyas, both serving as Archivists.
The event was conducted as part of the Galih Pakuan Center’s efforts to carry out benchmarking on best practices in developing Integrity Zones within academic institutions, particularly at SEEI ITB. During the discussions, both parties shared experiences and strategies in building transparent and accountable systems.
This activity is expected to encourage the implementation of integrity values in the workplace and to create better public services for the community. The visit represents an important step in strengthening synergy between educational institutions and government bodies in fostering environments free from corrupt practices.
The activity concluded with a shared commitment to support the sustainable development of Integrity Zones, along with discussions on concrete steps that can be taken moving forward.
