Huawei ICT Competition aims to address the gap between talent and demand in the ICT industry by collaborating with universities to produce potential and highly skilled professionals.

According to YB Puan Teo, "The ICT industry is very challenging, we need to ensure that today's youth are ready to face the challenges ahead."

"Collaboration between universities and industry is necessary for skills development and knowledge sharing. Malaysia and the world need quality graduates to meet industry needs," he explained.

According to him, the main goal of KPM in supporting collaborative efforts between academic institutions and industry is to ensure that graduates who are always ready for industry can be produced to fill high-skilled jobs.

Clearly, this effort gives students the opportunity to get a job after graduation and this is an important feature to produce marketable graduates.
