STEI ITB Holds Phase 1 Study Program Introduction for TPB STEI ITB 2021

On September 10, 2021, STEI ITB held Phase 1 of the Study Program Introduction event. The purpose of this introduction was, first, to meet and get to know each other so they can communicate and consult, especially with their advisors. Second, to learn about the curriculum of each study program. Third, to provide tips related to the TPB period.

The event started at 14.00 WIB which was opened with remarks by the Dean of STEI, namely Dr. Tutun Juhana, ST, MT. In his remarks, the Dean of STEI hoped that this introduction could provide knowledge to students in choosing the study program they would choose.

.STEI is here to stay"Whatever the conditions, STEI is ready to help and serve students," said Dr. Tutun Juhana in his remarks. 

The next agenda item was a presentation on the curriculum by the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs, Dr. techn. Saiful Akbar, ST, MT. In his presentation, students were encouraged to review the curriculum, educational objectives, graduate program outcomes, academic calendar, and academic regulations on the SIX website or perguruan.itb.ac.id. This information will be very helpful for students in their studies.

The TPB period is the most challenging period, because it is a transition period from being a student to being a student who has 80% responsibility for themselves, a greater amount than when they were students. 

Be a proactive student, a student who takes responsibility for whatever happens and will not blame others.

Next, the final series of study program introductions is where students meet with their respective advisors in separate Zoom rooms.
