STEI ITB Strengthens Its Role and Contribution in the Energy Sector by Becoming a Keynote Speaker at the ASEAN Battery Conference & EV Technology Conference and Battery Workshop

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) continues to demonstrate its excellence in renewable energy development by participating in 1st ASEAN Battery & EV Technology Conference with NCSTT-ITB. In the Conference held at Merusaka Nusa Dua Bali on May 9-11, 2023, STEI ITB was present, represented by Dr. Ir. Agus Purwadi, M.T., from KK Ketenagalistrikan STEI as keynote speaker with an interesting theme, namely “Carbon Neutral Context”.

In the conference, Dr. Agus Purwadi He explained his knowledge and understanding of the importance of a carbon-neutral context in the development of battery technology and electric vehicles. As an expert in the field of electricity, Dr. Agus Purwadi share insights on how this technology can contribute to reducing carbon emissions and achieving energy sustainability.

STEI ITB's participation as keynote speaker At this conference, he affirmed his commitment to continuing to innovate and contribute to the development of renewable energy in ASEAN. Through his presentation, Dr. Agus Purwadi proving the excellence of STEI ITB in producing research and innovation that is relevant to the development of the battery and electric vehicle industry.

After the conference, STEI ITB did not stop there. They continued their contribution by participating in Knowledge Sharing at Battery Workshop This workshop, held in collaboration with TMMIN (Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia) and Senior Key National Media Journalists, was held at Four Points Legian, Bali, on May 18-19, 2023.

This workshop serves as a forum for sharing experiences, ideas, and strategic thinking on addressing challenges and opportunities in the battery and electric vehicle industry. STEI ITB actively participates in fostering strong collaboration between academia, industry, and the media in achieving the shared goal of reducing carbon emissions and achieving energy sustainability.

STEI ITB's participation in this conference and workshop not only strengthens its role and contribution in the renewable energy sector, but also serves as a hub of knowledge and collaboration for stakeholders in the battery and electric vehicle industries.
