STEI ITB Holds 2023/2024 New Student Admissions Event: Inspiring Students Towards a Brilliant Academic Journey
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI) of the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) enthusiastically held a New Student Admission (PMB) event for the 2023/2024 Academic Year. This activity has succeeded in warmly and enthusiastically welcoming prospective Postgraduate students on August 14th in the Multipurpose Room, CRCS Building, 3rd Floor, ITB Bandung, as well as prospective Undergraduate students on August 15th at KOICA, ITB Jatinangor.
In a cheerful atmosphere, both events began with a joint prayer and a warm welcome from the Dean of STEI ITB, .. The presentation regarding the Academic System that will be undertaken by new students was delivered by WDA STEI, Dr. techn. Saiful Akbar, provides an overview of the academic journey that awaits them.
At the PMB event for postgraduate students, they were invited to learn more deeply about the two master's programs held at STEI ITB, namely Master of Electrical Engineering Study Program And Master of Informatics Study Program. Not only that, students are also given insight into Doctoral Program in Electrical Engineering and Informatics which can sharpen understanding and research in more specific fields. The event featured a special performance by the STEI band, with the vocalist being the dean of STEI ITB himself, adding a special festive touch.
The following day, the PMB event at KOICA, ITB Jatinangor, was prepared for undergraduate students. They were introduced to the academic system implemented at STEI ITB. The students were also introduced to the student associations at STEI (HME, HMIF, and IMT), allowing them to experience the dynamic atmosphere of campus life. They were also given an opportunity to share their experiences with one of STEI's alumni, Leonard, who provided insights and inspiration to prospective new students regarding their studies and careers after graduation.
One of the key moments of the event was the awarding session to new students who have demonstrated extraordinary achievements after joining STEI ITB. This award not only recognizes their efforts and dedication, but also serves as an inspiration for all new students to achieve greater heights. The event concluded with the introduction of the ITB Student Parents Association (IOM), which provides support and guidance to parents of prospective new students in supporting their children's academic journey at STEI ITB.
This year's STEI ITB Student Admissions (PMB) event successfully created a warm and inspiring atmosphere for prospective new students. The introduction to study programs, alumni experiences, and the involvement of student associations and parent-student associations (IOM) further enriched students' preparation for a quality and meaningful academic journey. STEI ITB remains committed to providing the best education and supporting student development in facing future technological challenges.
