SEEI ITB Contributes to the Commemoration of 105 Years of Higher Engineering Education in Indonesia
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB received two awards as part of the series of events commemorating 105 Years of Higher Engineering Education in Indonesia. The first award was presented to Mr. A.R.Y. Toronata Tambun, S.T., M.B.A., who received the Ganesa Widya Jasa Adiutama ITB Award. This award was conferred in recognition of his outstanding contributions in supporting the development of SEEI ITB, particularly through his role as an Industry Lecturer. Over the past several years, Mr. Toronata Tambun has consistently been involved in academic activities at SEEI ITB, especially in the management of courses related to innovation and entrepreneurship.
The contributions of Mr. A.R.Y. Toronata Tambun, S.T., M.B.A. have not only added value to the student learning process, but have also had a significant impact on curriculum development and the overall improvement of educational quality at SEEI ITB. Through his experience and deep understanding in the fields of innovation and entrepreneurship, he has helped shape students into individuals who are not only technically competent, but also well prepared to face real-world challenges.
The second award was presented to Dr. Tutun Juhana, S.T., M.T., in recognition of his dedication and leadership during his tenure as Dean of SEEI ITB for the period 2020–2025. During his leadership, he successfully directed various development programs aimed at strengthening the quality of education, research, and collaboration between SEEI ITB and various partners. His leadership also encouraged the creation of a conducive and collaborative academic environment, enabling SEEI ITB to continue contributing to addressing challenges in the fields of science and technology, as well as playing a role in strengthening academic governance, promoting the integration of education and research, and building collaborations with various strategic partners. .
Both awards are the highest honors of ITB, granted to parties (both institutions and individuals) who have demonstrated outstanding service and/or achievements in carrying out activities for the development of science, technology, and the arts (IPTEKS) at the international, national, and/or ITB levels. SEEI ITB extends its appreciation for the awards received, as well as to all members of the academic community who have contributed to continuously driving the institution’s progress.
