Seminar and Public Lecture NLP

The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI), in this case in connection with the Informatics Research Group (KK), in the coming week, precisely on Monday, March 28 2011 at 13.00 - 16.00 WIB, will hold a Natural Language Processing (NLP) seminar with the topic “Natural Language Processing, Text Mining, & Language Grid Project”. The event which will be held in the Meeting Room of the Benny Subianto Building, 2nd Floor, is being carried out in the context of the KK research activities in the field of Spoken Language Processing.

This seminar and discussion activity was not only filled by speakers from ITB and the relevant KK but also several from external institutions such as:

1. Prof. Toru Ishida (Kyoto University)
2. Prof. Seiichi Nakagawa (Toyohashi University of Technology)
3. Dr.Eng. Arif Bramiantoro (Kyoto University)

while from ITB are:

1. Dr. Rila Mandala, M.Eng. (Bandung Institute of Technology)
2. Dwi Hendratmo Widyantoro, Ph.D. (Bandung Institute of Technology)
3. Dr.Ir. Arry Akhmad Arman (Bandung Institute of Technology)

Before the seminar and discussion begins, there is still an event to be held, namely a Public Lecture on “Speech Recognition Technology” which will be brought by Prof. Seiichi Nakagawa from Toyohashi University of Technology. This lecture will be held in Room 7602, Benny Subianto Building, 1st Floor, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM WIB.
