School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics ITB Conducts Safety Drill
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – The School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB conducted a Safety Drill on Friday, 12 December 2025, at Labtek VIII Building. The activity was attended by the entire Labtek VIII academic community as part of ongoing efforts to enhance preparedness and strengthen a culture of safety within the campus environment.
The Safety Drill included earthquake simulations, fire emergency simulations, and casualty handling, aiming to improve participants’ understanding of safety procedures as well as the evacuation steps that must be taken during emergency situations.




Through these simulations, members of the Labtek VIII community were trained to respond to emergencies quickly, orderly, and in a coordinated manner, in accordance with the safety procedures in place at SEEI ITB. The activity also served as a shared learning opportunity to identify potential risks and increase awareness of emergency conditions.
The implementation of this Safety Drill is expected to further strengthen the readiness of the entire Labtek VIII community in facing emergency situations, while encouraging the consistent application of safety standards in daily academic and non-academic activities.
