Prof. Umar Khayam Represents the Rector of ITB During Work Visit to Review TSTH2 and the IT Del Data Center

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – Prof. Dr. Ir. Umar Khayam, S.T., M.T., IPM represented the Rector of Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB) during a work visit focused on reviewing the development of the Herbal and Horticulture Science and Technology Park (TSTH2). This visit served as a strategic step in supporting Indonesia’s efforts to become a self-reliant and highly competitive nation in agriculture and the utilization of natural resources.

In addition, the delegation also conducted a review of the data center at Institut Teknologi Del (IT Del) in Toba Regency, North Sumatra. The visit aimed to strengthen the campus’s research, education, and digital service capabilities, while also building synergy between academia and the government in advancing national data sovereignty.

ITB’s participation in this activity reaffirms the institution’s commitment to developing strategic technologies and fostering cross-sector collaboration for advancements in education, research, and technological innovation to support national development.
