ITB's 67th Anniversary Awards: Recognition of STEI Lecturers' Contributions in Various Strategic Fields
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — Since its inauguration in 1959, the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) has consistently affirmed its role as a higher education institution committed to academic excellence, research, and community service. As ITB enters its 67th year, it reaffirms this commitment by presenting awards to academics deemed to have made significant contributions to strengthening the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
The award ceremony took place on Monday, March 2, 2026, in the West Hall of ITB, as part of the solemn and official 67th Anniversary celebrations. This occasion served as a time for reflection and appreciation for the dedication of academics in driving the institution's progress.
On this occasion, a number of lecturers from the ITB School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics received awards in various strategic fields.
In the field of teaching, the award was given to Egi Muhammad Idris Hidayat, ST, M.Sc., Ph.D., for his dedication and consistency in presenting a quality learning process that is adaptive to developments in science and technology.

The award in the field of research and innovation was awarded to Dr. Irma Zakia, S.T., M.Sc., as a form of appreciation for her contribution in producing research and innovation that strengthens the competitiveness of institutions at the national and international levels.

In the field of community service, the award was received by Adi Mulyanto, S.T., M.T., for his role in implementing science to address real community needs and challenges.

Meanwhile, the award in the field of institutional development was given to Achmad Imam Kistijantoro, S.T., M.Sc., Ph.D., for his commitment to encouraging strengthening governance and institutional progress.

The award was presented directly by ITB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Tatacipta Dirgantara, M.T., as a form of institutional recognition of the recipients' performance, integrity, and contributions.
This award is not only a symbol of appreciation, but also an affirmation of the strategic role of STEI ITB lecturers in maintaining academic quality, expanding the impact of research, and strengthening the institution's contribution to the nation and society.
