SEEI ITB Student Wins 1st Place at the “2025 Global Start-up Design Thinking Hackathon Day” in South Korea
Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id – Four student representatives from the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (SEEI) ITB participated in the international event “2025 Global Start-up Design Thinking Hackathon Day” organized by Chung-Ang University, Seoul, held on September 22–25, 2025.
The event brought together students from various universities, both domestic and international, to collaborate in creating innovations based on advanced digital and multimedia technologies. Participants worked in international teams to develop prototypes and business models in fields such as games, applications, film, animation, and interactive media.


One SEEI ITB student, Mohammad Akmal Ramadan from the Informatics Engineering Study Program, successfully won 1st Place together with his team. The team excelled through an innovation that was assessed to have high creative value and strong business development potential.
The participation of SEEI ITB students in this event is expected to broaden international insight and networks, while also sharpening creative, collaborative, and entrepreneurial thinking skills at the global level.
