Description: The Informatics Engineering Study Program at ITB was founded in 1982 and is now under the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics. When it was first established, the program offered was a Bachelor's Program (S-1). Along with the development of science and the demands of society, currently ITB Informatics Engineering also has a Master's Program (S-2) and a Doctoral Program (S-3). In addition, in 2007 a new study program was opened, namely Information Systems and Technology. Until now, IF-ITB graduates continue to work in the field of Informatics in educational institutions, state-owned enterprises, consulting and service companies, and are active in entrepreneurial activities both at the national and international levels.

To face the challenges of the rapidly evolving world of information technology, IF-ITB needs to continuously improve its quality to compete with institutions at the global level. In addition to improving quality, a strong and active alumni network is also crucial in achieving this goal. Statistics show that every strong educational institution is supported by a strong alumni network.

As IF-ITB celebrates its 30th anniversary, alumni are expected to actively participate in improving the quality and development of IF-ITB's educational and research programs. The 30th anniversary of Informatics Education in Indonesia is a perfect opportunity to strengthen the relationship between alumni and IF-ITB. IF-ITB, along with its alumni, is expected to contribute to Indonesia's advancement in the field of informatics.

The theme of the event is Strengthening the IF-ITB Alumni Association and Increasing Contributions to Advancing Education, Research, and Industry in the Field of Informatics in the Context of Achieving National Independence.
