neXgen Challenge Competition by CIMB Niaga

The neXgen Challenge competition is a competition event hackathon, a competition to build an IT or programming work and requires creative and innovative ideas to become solutions to certain problems and be able to change people's lives, especially in the banking industry.

The neXgen Challenge is held virtually for students at the national level. This competition provides students with the opportunity to compete and create Disruptive Innovation  in the banking industry.

The theme raised in this year's neXgen Challenge is Digital Challenger Bank (Imagine, Design, Innovate the next generation of banking products and experiences). Participants are expected to be able to create innovations from the latest technology and come up with new ideas that can change the banking industry in the future.

Participants will collaborate in developing proposals, building prototypes, and giving presentations on innovative ideas as solutions to banking business challenges.

Competition Requirements:

• Indonesian citizens, have an ID card and a maximum age of 25 years
• Open to students in at least semester 5 from all majors, students who have graduated from S1/S2, and have a maximum of 2 years of work experience
• Team-based, consisting of 3-4 people
• Each team member is allowed from any major
• There is no fee for registration to enter the competition.

Contest Prizes:

All winners will receive various prizes, both cash and non-cash, as follows.

• Cash totaling Rp. 100,000,000,-
  • 1^st Champ : Rp. 40.000.000,-
  • 2^nd Champ : Rp. 30.000.000,-
  • 3^rd Champ : Rp. 20.000.000,-
  • 1^st Runner Up : Rp. 7.000.000,-
  • 2^nd Runner Up: Rp. 3.000.000,-

1 September – 1 Oktober 2021           : Registrasi, Pre-assessment Test, & Pengumpulan Ide

October 11, 2021: Pre-event Workshop (50 teams with the best ideas)

12 Oktober – 1 November 2021         : Mock Up Submission

8 November 2021                               : Workshop 1 (10 finalis terpilih)

9 – 11 November 2021                       : Working & Mentoring Session

12 November 2021                             : Workshop 2
