West Java Partners with PIKKC ITB to Develop the BMPR Smart Infrastructure System Platform
The West Java Provincial Government, the West Java Provincial Highways and Spatial Planning Agency (DBMPR Jabar) collaborated with the Smart City and Community Innovation Center (PIKKC), STEI ITB to carry out Big Data Analytic Monitoring, Integration, and Implementation Application Development Activities at the West Java Provincial Highways and Spatial Planning Agency (DBMPR) since 2020 led by Prof. Suhono Harso Supangkat (Head of PIKKC ITB), Dr. Fadhil Hidayat (Head of the PIKKC ITB Research Team), and the team.
In this activity, DBMPR West Java collaborated with ITB, especially PIKKC ITB to carry out BMPR Smart Infrastructure System Platform Development activities, assistance in implementing the platform from the Service level to implementation at Regional Technical Implementation Units (UPTD) I to VI spread throughout West Java Province.
The development of the BMPR Smart Infrastructure System Platform was conducted on Wednesday, February 10, 2021, opened by the Head of the West Java Provincial Highways and Spatial Planning Agency, Ir. A. Koswara MP, and took place from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM WIB via Zoom video conference. The platform development activity was attended by more than 85 participants, consisting of Heads of Divisions, Heads of Sections and their staff, Heads of Technical Implementation Units (UPTD) and their staff, and the ITB team.
At the meeting, Prof. Suhono Harso Supangkat (Head of PIKKC ITB) explained the Concept and Model of the BMPR Smart Infrastructure System developed by ITB and the scope of work as the first stage.
In the BMPR Smart Infrastructure System Model, it is divided into three main BMPR enablers, namely Smart Community Policing, Smart Spatial Planning, and Smart Construction Services.
Then, Dr. Fadhil Hidayat (Head of the PIKKC ITB Research Team), also explained about big data and IoT as well as future developments within the West Java BMPR Service. Then, Zulkifli Arsyad, S.Kom., MT, as a team member, also explained about the features of the SMART BMPR that had been created by the team and the use of the application, both the website version and the Android mobile application.
Lastly, Mr. Devi Sumirat, from the Road and Bridge Maintenance and Construction (Harbang) Division of DBMPR Jabar, as the moderator also led the question and answer session and explained about data sharing through the cloud platform that has been integrated into the Teman Jabar and Tali Kuat DBMPR Jabar systems which are included in the BMPR Smart Infrastructure System Platform.
