TIK Innovation for Smart Indonesia

The e-Indonesia Initiatives Forum has been held ten times since 2005. Each forum has an average attendance of over 500 participants, representing academia, industry, and government. A series of recommendations and actions have been successfully implemented, covering the importance of ICT infrastructure development, human resource development, governance, and empowering the younger generation of ICT users.

The 10th e-II Recommendation of 2014 mandates that Indonesian stakeholders begin developing an ICT ecosystem for Indonesia as a whole. This is because ICT has become a link between people and people, people and organizations, and objects and objects (Machine to Machine). In short, ICT becomes a link and makes it easier to see (sensing), understand (understanding), and carry out (acting) all aspects of human life and community. This recommendation is also highly relevant to the mandate of the preamble to the 1945 Constitution, which directs that all organizations and governments. One of Indonesia's development goals is to educate the nation.

To implement these recommendations, the Smart Indonesia Initiative has been prepared since 2015, which will subsequently be developed for Smart Cities and Smart Communities.
