Ibni Inggrianti, a Masters Student at STEI ITB, Receives a 5G Research Scholarship in the Netherlands Thanks to Her Academic Achievements
BANDUNG, stei.itb.ac.id – Ibni Inggrianti, A.Md., S.T., which is currently undergoing Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with Telematics and Telecommunication Networks Subprogram, STEI ITB, berhasil meraih 5G technology related thesis scholarship to the Netherlands. He received this scholarship through his academic struggles as a postgraduate student, with dedication and hard work in the field of telecommunications research.
Apart from studying, Ibni is also known as educational staff (Tendik) at the STEI ITB Telematics Laboratory, where he contributed to laboratory management and scientific development in the field of networking and telecommunications. However, his success in obtaining this scholarship was entirely due to his academic achievements and efforts as a student, demonstrating his strong commitment to 5G technology research and development.
This scholarship to TU Delft for 5G Research was initiated by Bandoengse Technische Hoogeschool Fonds (BTHF) and I&P Indonesia, which aims to improve education and research at ITB. In this program, Ibni will implement his thesis research in the Network Architecture and Services (NAS) group at TU Delft, Netherlands, under the guidance of Prof. Robert Kooij.
His research will focus on analisis traffic jaringan menggunakan machine learning, by utilizing original telecommunications data available in the NetherlandsThis research is expected to provide a significant contribution to the development of technology. 5G and future networks in Indonesia.
Prior to receiving this scholarship, Ibni had achieved numerous achievements at both the national and international levels. In 2023 and 2024, he received the “Women in Tech Best Instructor” 2 years in a row in the event Huawei ICT Competition. In addition, the guidance team also succeeded won the highest awards at the Asia Pacific and global levels . Network Track.
Ibni is also active in various activities within the ITB environment. He participated in STEI – Mandiri ITB Ultra Marathon 2022, an event that combines sports and fundraising to support various programs at ITB.
With an extraordinary academic and professional journey, Ibni hopes that this research can building stronger relations between ITB and TU Delft and make a real contribution to development of telecommunications technology in IndonesiaHis dedication as a teacher, mentor, and networking expert has been an inspiration to many students and young professionals.
