IAE Scholarship Welcoming Day to Welcome 39 STEI-R ITB Scholarship Awardees in 2026

Bandung, stei.itb.ac.id — Ikatan Alumni Elektro (IAE) ITB will hold the IAE Scholarship Welcoming Day for its 2026 scholarship awardees on Sunday, August 23, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. WIB at CRCS, Institut Teknologi Bandung. The event will provide an opportunity for scholarship recipients to meet the IAE community and connect with fellow awardees. Participants can RSVP at https://bit.ly/IAEScholarshipWelpar2026.

The Welcoming Day program includes networking, mentoring, alumni sharing sessions, and a group lunch. The event will also feature Seterhen Akbar Suriadinata (EL 03), Founder of Labtek Indie and Chairman of HME 2005/2006, as well as Gema Aryasatya (EP 20), Project Manager at Global Hydro Energy and 2023 Outstanding Student of Electrical Power Engineering, as keynote speakers.

In 2026, IAE ITB is awarding scholarships totaling more than Rp430 million to 39 students of the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics, Institut Teknologi Bandung (STEI ITB), from the STEI-Engineering (STEI-R) group. The scholarship program reflects alumni support for students in continuing their education at STEI ITB.

The 39 scholarship recipients come from several study programs and student groups within STEI-R. They comprise 13 Electrical Engineering students, 11 Telecommunication Engineering students, eight Electrical Power Engineering students, four Biomedical Engineering students, and three students from the STEI-R First-Year Common Stage (TPB).

Through both the scholarship program and the Welcoming Day, stronger connections between alumni and STEI-R ITB students are expected to develop. Financial support combined with mentoring and knowledge-sharing activities can provide meaningful support for the recipients throughout their studies while helping them build connections with the alumni community.
