Nur Ahmadi is a lecturer and researcher at the School of Electrical Engineering and Informatics (STEI), Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), and is affiliated with the Center for Artificial Intelligence and the ITB Microelectronics Center. He completed his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at ITB in 2011, a Masters in Communications and Integrated Systems from Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan, in 2013, and earned a Ph.D. in the field of Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Imperial College London, England, in 2020. His dissertation focused on the development of signal processing and deep learning methods for intracortical brain-machine interfacesFor his research contributions, he received Travel Grant Award at IEEE UKCAS 2018 in Glasgow, Scotland and Young Researchers Poster Award at IEEE BioCAS 2019 in Nara, Japan.

In addition to his active research and publication activities, Nur currently serves as Deputy Director for Research and Dissemination, Directorate of Research and Innovation (DRI) ITB, a role that focuses on facilitating and promoting research and scientific dissemination within the ITB academic environment. He is also currently the Chair of the IEEE Solid-State Circuit Society (SSCS) Chapter Indonesia and Vice Chair of IEEE Circuits and Systems Society (CASS) Chapter Indonesia. He was also a member of Visiting Researcher at the world's top universities, such as Imperial College London (since 2023) and the University of Cambridge (2023), and are involved in various research projects that combine AI technology, wearable device, and contactless systems for healthcare applications and real-time monitoring. His areas of expertise and research interests include biomedical signal processing, . And ., brain-machine interface And neurotechnology, as well as circuits and systems for biomedical/healthcare applications and smart technologies.
