Digitalent Fresh Graduate Academy: Open Until July 5th

The Fresh Graduate Academy Digital Talent Scholarship Program (FGA DTS) is a competency improvement training program in the TIK field which aims to prepare graduates who have not or are not currently working to have professional competencies, in accordance with the development of science and technology in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 so that they can compete both in domestic and international industries.

The FGA training has been held since 2018, covering various topics. The 2021 FGA program will be held online and will include training. technical skill and soft skills development. FGA training in collaboration with 53 university partners, Global Technology Company and Technology Education Partners. At the end of the training, participants who meet the requirements will have the opportunity to participate in a certification program related to their chosen training topic.

It is hoped that the FGA program will provide ready-to-use skills for undergraduate and diploma graduates, which will help reduce unemployment and meet the need for skilled workers in the technology sector. The Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (Kominfo) is striving to create a balanced ecosystem to maximize the role of triple helix (government agencies, private sector, and educational institutions) to become facilitators and accelerators supporting the digital economy.

The focus of training and certification covers the field of Programming, Database, Cloud, Cyber Security, Network, Big Data, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Developer and so forth.

Activities in the Fresh Graduate Academy Program, namely:

1. Self-paced Learning/Independent Learning: participants learn independently via laptop/computer, the self-paced learning schedule is arranged independently by the participants within the training duration limits;
2. Live Session/Webinar: An online face-to-face session between the instructor and participants, where participants will be guided directly and interact with the instructor.
3. Hands-on Labs: Participants will work on a project either independently or in groups;
4. Evaluation: Participants will take part in a training evaluation process in the form of quizzes, exams, or completing a project;
5. Certification Program: This program is specifically given to participants who meet the criteria according to the provisions and decisions of the organizing committee, namely Kominfo.
6. Post-Training: Participants who complete the training will receive additional soft skills training.
